This bespoke camera replaces the high level brake light, thus keeping the height of the camera below the roof line and saves drilling any holes, which may cause corrosion and water ingress at a later date so warranty issues to worry about! With camera's becoming more common on these vehicle's owing to health and safety requirements, duty of care and limitations with conventional park assist where the rear step is installed, this is the ideal solution for fleet operators and owner-drivers alike.
The camera is mounted in a ball socket which only moves in one plane so is easy to setup and can be adjusted by the end user who would like to fine tune the image to suit their individual requirements. The camera comes with a 10 metre extension cable and DIN to RCA cable adaptor, allowing trouble free installation to suit even the longest wheelbase models. You need to unscrew your current brake light housing to replace it with this one and screw in the bulb to maintain the brake light functionality. Then you just need to wire the camera to a reversing light feed to switch it on when you select reverse gear. The camera also incorporates reversing guidelines to help you reverse.
Includes
- 10m Video Extension Cable
- 1.5m Power Supply Lead
- 35cm Composite to Phono/RCA Adaptor Cable
- Pre-fitted Sealing Gasket
You can buy the camera on its own or, in addition, we also offer a range of monitor solutions depending on your needs and budget. All our range of cameras and monitors are compatible with each other so you just need to decide if you want a dash mounted or mirror mounted monitor - if you have a rear view mirror present - and the screen size.
Maintenance
